Review recognition first
Compare your current hair length, colour and usual styling with the lead photo. A minor trim may not matter; a substantial change can make an otherwise excellent image outdated for introductions.
Refresh selectively
- Take one clear current portrait.
- Review older supporting images for consistency.
- Keep meaningful recent activities where the difference is understandable.
- Remove a set that presents several incompatible looks without context.
You do not need a full new photoshoot because of every small change. Replacing the main portrait may be enough to make the profile easy to recognise.
Avoid editing history
Do not digitally add your new hairstyle to an old image and treat it as a current photograph. A simple new picture in good light is a clearer representation. If using generated portraits, compare hair and facial details carefully with current source images rather than accepting a plausible but outdated look.
